Fedaa, her husband Hesham, and their three children: Ghena, Tayyam,
and Lara have been displaced from their comfortable home in Gaza City for more than a year. Before the war, Hesham ran a supermarket and Fedaa had a business creating custom embroidered Tatreez pieces.
The family has been living in a tent in Al Mawasi-Khan Younis and surviving as best they can in the hard conditions and deprivations. Our support has enabled them to purchase warm clothing, blankets, medicine, and food. Fedaa and her family recently made the arduous journey back to northern Gaza.
It is Fedaa's wish to evacuate Gaza and build a life for her family in peace and safety. Under the ceasefire, border crossings will open soon, but no one knows how long this phase may last. It is urgent that we enable Fedaa's passage to safety as quickly as possible to take advantage of this moment of peace. The family requires $20,000 for the crossing fees, which we would like to raise by February 15, 2025.
